Raise an Anomaly Anomaly growth stages
Level 1 to 99999, Age 1 to 100, Day 01 to 100 — three marketing ladders, one feed loop.
Official Raise an Anomaly thumbnails use three different progress words. That confuses players who think they missed a mechanic. This page treats those words as ladders shown in art, not as three confirmed HUD stats. Until an in-game screenshot shows all three at once, assume you will see one number that goes up when you feed after a hatch.
Ladder A — Level (yellow smiler)
The three-panel shot labels Level 1, Level 50, and Level 99999.
- Level 1: yellow grinning sphere. Cute, portable, easy to steal-adjacent in marketing.
- Level 50: sphere with arms, claws, and legs. The joke turns.
- Level 99999: elongated yellow adult with a stretched smile in indoor light.
99999 is marketing language for “there is a long tail.” Do not plan a session around hitting exactly 99999 tonight. Plan around feeding until the model leaves the ball stage. Details: yellow smiler.
Ladder B — Age (pale screamer)
Split shot: Age 1 in a blue tub, Age 100 running a hall.
- Age 1: emaciated infant, mouth open, bath props (duck, bottle).
- Age 100: tall pale humanoid, long limbs, reaching camera.
Age here is a morph, not a calendar. You are not waiting 100 real days. You are feeding. If the tub animation is a required care step, do it; if it is only art, the feed prompt still applies. Page: pale screamer.
Ladder C — Day (forest grin)
Day 01 versus Day 100 in a forest.
- Day 01: player holding a yellow smile ball — overlaps smiler imagery.
- Day 100: giant crouched grin in the trees, player tiny in front.
Day may be the same stat as Age with different art direction. It may be a second family that starts as a ball and ends as a forest SCP. Steal if you see it; do not assume you must survive 100 daily logins. See the roster.
What actually moves the number
Confirmed: feeding levels babies. Confirmed: eggs grow on a timer (X2 Growth Speed). Not confirmed: whether Level, Age, and Day are separate meters, whether baths add Age but steak adds Level, whether 2x growth affects post-hatch morph.
Play rule: after hatch, feed until the model matches a later official frame. If the number ticks without a morph, keep feeding. If the morph jumps without a number, you still won. Cash should rise with adult size; collect it. Auto Collect is a pass because pickup is part of this ladder too.
Stalling on a stage
- Empty food stock.
- Egg still in hatch — you are not on a level ladder yet.
- You are looking at another player’s adult and thinking your baby is bugged.
- You bought X2 Money and expected morph. Money is not growth.
Why this belongs on the tier list
A Level 1 anything is worse than a Level 50 of a “worse” family. Stages beat names while income is unknown. When you choose whom to feed with the last steak, feed the baby closer to an adult frame. That is the only PvE optimization this wiki will claim without a dex.
Track patches on updates. If a changelog adds a real stat named Day, we will split this article. Until then, three ladders, one action: feed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for stealing eggs, hatching, and raising anomalies.
Do I need 100 real days?
No. Day 100 is official art for a grown morph. Feeding is the loop.
Is Level 99999 real?
It is on official media. Treat it as a long ceiling, not a tonight goal.
Are Age and Level different stats?
Unknown. They may be one number with different thumbnail copy.
Does X2 Growth Speed skip stages?
It speeds egg growth. Post-hatch stages still want food.
